Comprehensive Primary Care is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in fostering a patient-centered workplace by supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of staff.

Working closely with both clinical and administrative teams, you will ensure a smooth and effective HR function, which includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.

As an essential part of our HR team, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging work environment where employees feel supported and aligned with the mission of providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies for a variety of roles.
  • Support leadership as a trusted resource for staff, addressing concerns and resolving employee relations issues while promoting a positive workplace environment.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and events that boost morale and strengthen team cohesion.
  • Partner with leadership to identify training and development needs; support the creation and implementation of professional growth opportunities for employees.
  • Maintain and track compliance training, continuing education and certification requirements for clinical and administrative staff.
  • Support HR Director to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to employment data, HR metrics, and compliance audits.
  • Assist with the development and execution of performance management processes, including reviews, feedback, and development plans.
  • Help create retention strategies that encourage high levels of employee engagement and job satisfaction, reducing turnover.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • ~ 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • ~ Experience with full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and healthcare-specific regulations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, ideally BambooHR, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
