Clinical Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Customer Service Representative to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a central point of contact and communication for patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Address a broad spectrum of needs and concerns in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Perform a variety of customer service and unit-operations activities to assist medical, nursing, and administrative staff
- Utilize information and computer systems to manage and prioritize tasks and activities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, one year of college credit preferred
- Minimum six months experience in healthcare or office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Substantial interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Ability to learn and master clinical and administrative automated systems and software
