Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Daily collaboration with the Warranty Coordinator to ensure timely responses to homeowner warranty inquiries. Escalate issues to management with thorough documentation.
  • Understanding and adhering to warranty procedures and customer satisfaction principles.
  • Identifying and managing warranty-related concerns for homeowners, requiring strong diagnostic skills and effective communication.
  • Being knowledgeable about industry standards and warranty guidelines, and effectively communicating these to homeowners.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in accordance with established warranty protocols.
  • Serving as the primary contact for customers experiencing warranty issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Overseeing subcontractor/vendor involvement for repairs, including scheduling and follow-up.
  • Submitting detailed work orders for subcontractor/vendor resolution.
  • Managing and tracking all scheduled repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Providing after-hours support for urgent customer-reported issues.
  • Performing maintenance services as needed for company facilities.
  • Becoming proficient in data entry within the Warranty System.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned by management.

Expectations for Candidates:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in residential homebuilding with a solid understanding of construction warranties.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights of 20/60/100 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to navigate uneven terrain safely.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting.
  • Continuous movement including walking and standing.
  • Repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements.
  • Work in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Finger dexterity for operating a computer keyboard and calculator.
