Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate daily with the Warranty Coordinator to address homeowner warranty requests efficiently, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Understand and implement warranty procedures and customer satisfaction strategies.
  • Identify and manage warranty-related concerns for homeowners, requiring effective diagnostic skills and communication.
  • Communicate warranty policies clearly to homeowners, ensuring they are well-informed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in line with established warranty guidelines.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers regarding warranty issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Oversee subcontractor/vendor involvement for repairs, including scheduling and follow-up.
  • Submit detailed work orders for subcontractor/vendor resolution.
  • Manage and follow up on scheduled repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide after-hours support for emergencies through designated channels.
  • Perform maintenance services as needed for company facilities.
  • Become proficient in data entry within the Warranty System.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in residential homebuilding with a strong understanding of construction warranties.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient computer skills and adaptability to company systems.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry weights of 20/60/100 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to navigate uneven terrain safely.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, and climbing.
  • Continuous movement and standing.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
