Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive customer experience.
  • Address incoming inquiries from existing and prospective customers in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, technicians, sales personnel, and departmental staff through phone, email, and written communication to provide information or answer questions.
  • Ensure the customer database is maintained with complete, accurate, and up-to-date information.
  • Carry out administrative tasks to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Promptly escalate any service-related issues to the appropriate supervisor to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Manage conflict resolution with customers through clear communication, addressing all concerns and questions promptly.
  • Meet performance metrics as outlined by CCS I standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong communication skills with a positive and supportive demeanor.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Familiarity with the service area and/or map reading abilities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting of 5-10 pounds.
  • Good visual acuity and sufficient ability to operate computer-based call management systems and communication equipment.
  • Regularly spend extended periods sitting and using office equipment and computers (approximately 80% of the time) in a cubicle office setting.
  • Engage in telephone interactions with customers and technicians primarily during evenings and early mornings.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
Position-Specific Standards:
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive and proprietary business matters.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through continuous training.
  • Be available to work standard business hours outside of the regular evening schedule, if necessary.
