Technical Component Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Component Manager to oversee the successful release of electronic components for our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, managing prototype schedules, and coordinating logistics with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage prototype schedules and track activities such as subcomponent deliveries, testing, assembly, and packaging
  • Ensure component releases to manufacturing are completed successfully
  • Conduct Material Life Cycle reviews and own PPAP approval process
  • Coordinate logistics of complex supply chain and monitor production test facilities
  • Collaborate with suppliers on test changes and quality improvements
  • Facilitate failure analysis process and component testing
  • Handle supplier visits, data traceability, and troubleshooting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic component mass production (automotive industry preferred)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to balance stakeholder needs and work well in a team
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and component management tools
  • Knowledge of reliability and quality engineering processes
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with automotive product development standards (e.g. IATF 16949, VDA 6.3)
