This role is essential in fostering effective communication across various internal teams, including research and development, manufacturing, prototyping, lab testing, and sourcing.

The individual will cultivate relationships with major automotive corporations and oversee project activities to ensure that program objectives are met within established timelines and deliverables.

Collaboration with diverse internal departments is crucial to align customer needs with Filtration Group's strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements tailored to each client.

2. Oversee the production launch process upon program assignment, following the established five-phase system for introducing new OEM/OES products to the market.

3. Conduct kickoff reviews with the Strategic Account Director to outline program milestones and launch expectations.

4. Provide regular updates on program progress to the Strategic Account Director, addressing any risks or concerns regarding timely launches.

5. Collaborate with Supply Chain to initiate production suppliers for new programs.

6. Coordinate with Packaging Engineering, including fleet calculator for returnable design, dunnage design, customer approval, and backup consumable packaging approval.


7. Manage supplier production timelines, encompassing production tooling, component/sample availability, supplier PPAP timelines, and PPAP sample coordination within the plant.

8. Facilitate tooling/component and dimensional improvements in conjunction with engineering, quality, and prototyping teams.


9. Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Bill of Materials (BOM) confirmation, ensuring part number implementation, supplier PPAP approvals prior to production launch orders, and pricing approvals with Sales Managers.

10. Coordinate manufacturing reviews, follow up on internal run-at-rate completions, and conduct Filtration Group Readiness Assessments.

11. Oversee validation testing activities, confirming test target completion dates and alignment with launch schedules.

12. Provide PPAP support by following up with Filtration Group quality on PPAP completion tasks and manufacturing process documentation.

13. Facilitate and manage direct customer interactions across all Filtration Group departments, including support for certification and customer audits.

14. Maintain engineering and purchasing relationships at all levels of the customer organization.

15. Create, maintain, and monitor project launch plans.

16. Coordinate technical discussions with sub-suppliers.

17. Monitor major project activities utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) tools, including pipeline tracking, major project updates/reviews, and data integrity of contact and project databases.

18. Coordinate project subcontractors in collaboration with the Filtration Group purchasing department.

19. Initiate sample/amendment requests.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sales, or Economics.

2. 3-5+ years of experience in automotive sales and program management.

3. Highly detail-oriented with strong communication and analytical skills.

4. Excellent relationship-building and organizational abilities.

5. Team-oriented mindset.

6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.

7. Willingness to travel 25% or more.

Performance Metrics:
1. Timely launch of projects as per customer’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) dates.

2. Execution of projects within budget constraints.

3. Accuracy of project pipeline data.
