Position Overview:
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and maintaining compliance with company policies. Your role will involve:

  • Verifying figures, postings, and documentation for precision.
  • Organizing and safeguarding all financial files and records.
  • Recording and analyzing computerized financial data.
  • Classifying and summarizing financial information to maintain accurate records.
  • Preparing and distributing financial reports and tables.
  • Completing period-end closing procedures as required.
  • Issuing bills, invoices, and account statements in accordance with company standards.
  • Following up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until resolution.
  • Preparing daily consolidated cash deposits.
  • Documenting and addressing any cash variances.
  • Administering cashier banks and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a professional appearance and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, using clear and professional language. Engage in physical tasks such as moving and lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Develop and nurture positive working relationships with team members, contributing to a collaborative environment. Be prepared to undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a related field.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

Certification:
None required.
