About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Experience Coordinator in the Guest Services department at Barclays Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $72,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive reputation for excellent customer service by assisting with the hiring and training of part-time staff, including ticket takers, ushers, and guest services representatives.
  • Ensure staff compliance with time and attendance policies and procedures, manage employee records and notes.
  • Schedule usher, ticket taker, uniform room specialist, guest services representative, and supervisor shifts for events at Barclays Center.
  • Assist with event planning, preparation, operation, and execution at Barclays Center.
  • Maintain equipment standards, inventory, cleaning, and distribution for Guest Services personnel.
  • Support and distribute event paperwork tailored to usher ticket takers, guest services representatives, VIP associates, directors, uniform room specialists, and supervisors.
  • Respond promptly to guest comments, questions, suggestions, and complaints received via phone, mail, email, fax, or during events.

Requirements:

  • A 2-4 year college degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer/guest service experience, preferably in a sports and/or entertainment facility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Ability to work proactively, recognize problems, and find solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of ABIMM or scheduling system experience is preferred.
