Event Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an Event Operations Coordinator to join our team at Barclays Center. This role will be responsible for coordinating logistics and operations for events, including hiring and training part-time staff, scheduling staff for events, and maintaining equipment standards.

About the Role
  • Coordinate event logistics and operations, including setting up and breaking down events
  • Hire and train part-time staff, including ticket takers, ushers, guest services representatives, and supervisors
  • Schedule staff for events, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective communication with staff
  • Maintain equipment standards, inventory, and ensure that all necessary equipment is available for events

Requirements
  • 2-4 year college degree in Business, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' customer/guest service experience, preferably in a sport and/or entertainment facility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
