The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Services Coordinator to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent internal and external customer service, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
- Develop and implement creative programs and services to support residents' housing retention, income stability, health, and wellness.
- Maintain strong communication and cooperation with social services and property management staff, ensuring a seamless delivery of services.
- Establish on-going communication with residents, individually and collectively, to determine areas of need and work collaboratively to address them.
- Effectively assess and diffuse crisis situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and communicating with authorities as needed.
- Ensure completion of required paperwork and program database entries, including HMIS, EHR, CMT, and Safety Zone.
- Develop and implement creative on-site educational opportunities, social services, and community building events based on residents' needs and interests.
- Coordinate services with case managers/staff from all CCH departments and external partners to optimize service delivery to individual residents.
- Identify and establish partnerships with Property Management and other CCH departments and community-based groups to bring educational, financial, health, and recreational services to residents.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required, with experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of two years' experience providing educational and/or social services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
- Experience in mental health, substance use, permanent supportive housing, and crisis intervention strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in working with people from diverse backgrounds and ability levels.
- Ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with property management staff, services team staff, and representatives from other agencies.
