Job Description


As an HVAC Service Technician with ARS/Rescue Rooter, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and installing new equipment. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their budget and expectations.



Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of three years of experience in residential HVAC services
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • An EPA certificate
  • A valid driver's license and good communication skills
  • The ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds


Responsibilities


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Diagnosing and addressing customer HVAC concerns and presenting options
  • Successfully performing all service repairs at a high proficiency level to customer satisfaction
  • Understanding and following proper diagnostic procedures when servicing and repairing equipment
  • Acquiring necessary tools to perform professional HVAC service
  • Completing all required documentation on services, explaining guarantees and warranties, and collecting and recording fees
  • Attending weekly training meetings

Sign-On Bonus and Pre-Employment Requirements


The sign-on bonus amount will depend on experience and will be paid out in increments. Selected candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen, MVR check, and background check.
