Role Summary

The Mechanical Project Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency across all job sites. This role involves the effective management and successful execution of our new construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee, assess, and inspire field project team members by fostering a culture of quality and safety.
  • Strategically plan, organize, and direct the execution of contracted work.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Coordinate production efforts and participate in meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Guarantee timely completion of all installations, adherence to quality and mechanical code standards, and surpassing customer expectations.
  • Manage the necessary materials and personnel to meet project timelines.
  • Ensure all work aligns with contractual obligations and that any additional work is authorized by the Project Superintendent.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of contract drawings and specifications to effectively execute trade work.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Superintendent, Project Manager, and Trade Operations Manager to assist in the preparation, monitoring, and updating of schedules to ensure deadlines are met or improved.
  • Uphold Ernest's standards of quality, safety, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical field supervision, managing teams and overseeing medium to large mechanical construction projects.
  • Possession of EPA Section 608 Certification.
  • Preferred certifications include NATE, LEED, and/or HVAC Excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and/or Gmail.
  • A commitment to exceeding expectations.
