About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Residential Care Team Lead to join our team at STAR, Inc.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of one of our group homes, apartments or supported living locations, ensuring the highest level of care and support for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling medical appointments and managing resident records
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the House Manager to ensure adequate staffing levels and provide coverage when needed
  • Provide daily support to residents with tasks such as grooming, hygiene, and personal care

A Day in the Life:

As a Residential Care Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in residential care, working closely with a dedicated team to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a residential care setting
  • Connecticut state driver's license
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
