Senior QC Lab Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory management, with a proven track record of improving team performance and implementing process improvements. You will be responsible for managing a team of 35-40 people, with 5-6 direct reports, and will be expected to maintain a high level of quality control throughout the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the quality control laboratory team to achieve high levels of performance and quality
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage a team of 35-40 people, with 5-6 direct reports, to ensure high levels of quality control
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and maintain a strong regulatory background
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical background in laboratory equipment and testing, including HPLC/GC testing and USP monographs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, particularly in a high-throughput laboratory environment
  • At least 3 years of laboratory management experience, with a proven track record of improving team performance and implementing process improvements
  • Strong regulatory background, including cGMP regulations
  • Strong technical background in laboratory equipment and testing, including HPLC/GC testing and USP monographs
