Job Overview

Adecco is seeking a Permanent Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with substantial experience in both interior and exterior maintenance of facilities. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repairs, and adjustments within a large facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and supervise general and preventive maintenance tasks, including electrical work, painting, and carpentry repairs on various fixtures and equipment.
  • Oversee the installation and relocation of machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain and repair production support systems, including air compressors, air dryers, and vacuum systems.
  • Conduct basic engineering calculations and update mechanical schematics as necessary.
  • Ensure that all HVAC and ventilation systems operate according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and adhere to preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Follow safety and health regulations, along with company security policies.
  • Ensure that all repairs are executed professionally, meeting industry standards and code requirements.
  • Establish and manage preventive maintenance schedules and activities.
  • Maintain logs and records of all repairs and enhancements.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal staff.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs, including:
    • Electrical and lighting work (Licensed Electrician preferred).
    • Interior and exterior maintenance.
    • Painting, drywall, and carpentry tasks.
    • HVAC and plumbing work.
    • Experience with equipment such as scissor lifts, electric pallet jacks, and air compressors.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift overhead as required.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • 1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance is preferred.
