Responsibilities:
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair building issues such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
- Replace appliances, lighting, and other fixtures as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance concerns.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize future repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and completed tasks.
- Coordinate with property management and vendors for larger repair projects.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to their maintenance concerns professionally.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or commercial properties.
- Proven experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
Best Practices for Qualifications:
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus but not mandatory
