You will also utilize the Property Management System to update records and track property throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, pack, crate, and coordinate shipments and receipts
- Update records and track property using the Property Management System
- Inspect, tag, and post incoming property and material into the system
- Perform annual inventories and process excess property via a disposition program
- Verify shipment contents and compare with records to ensure accuracy
- Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified IT equipment
- Maintain a reserve of shipping materials and supplies
- Interpret data on logistics elements and implement new or improved supply chain processes
- Assist with acquisition, logistics management, equipment and spares database management, shipping and tracking, and Supply Chain Risk Management compliance
- Write technical copies of documents and assist in preparing operations documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a DoD or IC environment preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50lbs, and work independently in a high-paced environment
- Proficient in accurately entering logistics-related data into databases and excel spreadsheets
- Ability to quickly process and assimilate large volumes of data
