Job Summary

The Maintenance Coordinator is a key member of our property management team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance services. This role involves managing existing work orders, creating purchase orders, and coordinating vendor maintenance for all occupied homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work Order Management
    • Create and close out occupied work orders and purchase orders
    • Submit work orders to vendors and update vendor work order memos according to standard workflow
    • Coordinate with vendors and residents for all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance requests
  • Vendor Management
    • Coordinate and oversee all repairs and maintenance projects on occupied homes through to completion
    • Maintain records and monitor maintenance status daily
    • Proactively communicate with residents and vendors through to the completion of work
  • Financial Management
    • Review and approve all invoices submitted for purchase orders within approval levels
    • Create purchase orders along with proper GL codes and ensure all vendor purchase orders are approved and completed properly for efficient AP processing

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience
    • Prior customer service experience
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Knowledge of Yardi preferred
