Gastro Health is seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Utilizes our practice management system to create and maintain accurate patient records, including insurance information and medical history.
  • Verifies patient registration forms and obtains necessary information from referring physicians and primary care providers.
  • Ensures patients have current referrals and verifies insurance benefits prior to office visits and procedures.
  • Collects co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles from patients and posts payments in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front office area, including stocking business cards and supplies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical office or similar setting.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required.
  • eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel to different centers as needed.
