Job Title: Patient Navigator - Imaging and Hereditary Cancer Testing

At HALO Precision Diagnostics, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and experience. We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Navigator to join our team in Plantation, FL.

Job Summary:

The Patient Navigator will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent medical office experience coordinating with a team of medical professionals and be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide genetics education to high-risk patients
  • Register and schedule follow-up appointments for genetic testing
  • Collect specimens for genetic testing
  • Liaise between patient, Radiologist, Pathologist, and Referring Physicians
  • Verify insurance and obtain authorization
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor with patients in a fast-paced environment
  • Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians
Qualifications:
  • 1 year of certified medical assistant experience in imaging highly preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
