Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Vail Resorts. As the face of our hotel, you will be the first point of contact for all guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check guests in and out, handling all aspects of the registration process with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any concerns.
  • Handle guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating to management as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available.
  • Process guest payments and handle cash handling duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with special events and projects.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
