Position Summary:
Oversee all operational functions of the Reception Center to ensure the highest standards of service while achieving profit objectives. Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to provide clear guidance to team members. Monitor performance and promote improvement. Conduct interviews, select, train, supervise, evaluate, counsel, and implement progressive disciplinary actions for front desk personnel to maintain quality standards. Engage positively with guests and proactively resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
Position Specifications:

- Expected Compensation Range: $52,000 - $59,660.00
- Availability: Full Time / Year Round
- Experience Level: Advanced
Key Responsibilities:
- Address individual guest concerns promptly and strive for satisfactory resolutions while updating guest history records accordingly.
- Ensure all arrivals are properly arranged by verifying room types, group billing, individual rates, and special requests.
- Facilitate smooth operations at the Front Desk by leading and supporting Front Desk Agents.
- Assist the Front Desk Lead and Front Office Manager in ensuring staff adherence to Reception Center Standards and Checklists.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and ethics when interacting with guests, colleagues, and subordinates.
- Ensure safety practices are followed for both employees and guests, adhering to emergency and safety protocols.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with other department managers to optimize communication and teamwork.
- Organize and oversee on-the-job training for new employees and monitor training programs for all new hires.
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Prior front desk or hospitality experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Preferred:
- Experience in a luxury environment.
- A minimum of two years of Front Desk experience in a property of similar size and quality.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish.
- College degree in hospitality or a related business field.
- Familiarity with IQware, IQtrac, and Alice.
The expected compensation range is $50,000. This range reflects the anticipated pay for this position, with individual compensation determined by various factors.
