Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the comprehensive project deliverables of a dedicated team of analytical professionals, including Senior Analysts and Analysts, serving various business unit leaders.

Implement management priorities and adjust timelines and resource allocations as necessary.

Conduct and communicate complex analyses utilizing diverse tools and methodologies to provide insights that inform business strategies and decision-making.

Identify collaboration opportunities across the Analytics division to effectively meet organizational priorities. Partner with Business Leaders to analyze and propose data-driven solutions to a range of business challenges. Mentor and develop analysts in the optimal use of analytical techniques and data formats. Actively contribute to the professional development of Junior and Senior analysts. Demonstrate experience in delivering complex projects and achieving desired outcomes. Possess knowledge of contemporary data techniques and tools, alongside a working understanding of statistical analysis methodologies.
Exhibit strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

The Client Quantitative Analyst role is situated within the Client Protection division, focusing on functions such as Fraud Prevention, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Compliance Screening.

A quantitative mindset, inherent curiosity, and a willingness to challenge conventional approaches while maintaining a broader perspective are essential attributes.


Essential Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in applied data science, quantitative research, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in statistical and data mining methodologies, techniques, and formulas. Expertise in Python, SAS, and SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in data extraction and integration from various database environments, including Hadoop.
Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey quantitative concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to introduce innovative ideas to the team to foster creativity and unique solutions.
Capability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment while influencing others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
Proficient in prioritization and project management.
Broad understanding of financial products and experience in supporting regulated initiatives within a large, complex financial institution.
Knowledge of statistical sampling, optimization, machine learning, predictive modeling, and artificial intelligence techniques.
Demonstrated communication skills in articulating complex issues to inform strategic insights and decisions.
Ability to present, lead, support, and influence senior management and business stakeholders.
