Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at SMS as an Outside Sales Representative. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your career working with a leading business development firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for appointments received from our team, focusing on local business development within a 20-mile radius of your home
  • Directing daily sales appointments with entrepreneurs and business owners to market and secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements
  • Sharing feedback from appointments and new business lead opportunities with our Business Coordinator
  • Reviewing daily successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, gaining sales support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; we will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business leaders
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong listening skills and the ability to uncover a client's pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This is a commission-only position with residual income and daily cash bonuses; realistic first-year earnings range from $100,000 to $110,000
  • Potential to earn high six-figure commissions
  • Comprehensive new hire and ongoing training and development
  • Full benefits after 60 days of employment and 401(k) after one year
  • Protected territory and pre-set appointments
