Role Overview:
The Prior Authorization Specialist I plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating the authorization process for referrals, precertifications, and prior authorizations. This position ensures compliance with the specific requirements set forth by various insurance providers, including commercial, government, and other payors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and resolve prior authorizations across various healthcare settings, including inpatient and outpatient services, emergency departments, and ancillary services.
- Conduct pre-appointment registration and insurance verification to enhance the likelihood of clean claim submissions.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Eclaro while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Additional Information:
As this role is situated within a healthcare environment, candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment, which includes vaccinations, along with a standard background check and drug screening.
