Catering Coordinator Job Description

The Catering Coordinator is a key role within the Off-Premises department at CAVA. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation and distribution of catering orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu coordination for vendors and in-house websites, including validation of pricing, descriptions, and photos.
  • Catering Portal management and coordination, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Vendor management, including reporting, tracking, communication, and subject matter expertise.
  • Ensuring the entire guest experience meets CAVA's high standards.
  • Upholding food safety and quality standards.
  • Cross-training across the restaurant to ensure rapid growth and adaptability.
  • Occasional assistance with delivery of orders as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the restaurant industry is a plus.
