Sales Representative - Construction Lumber

Location: Newark NJ

Salary: $62,500 - $87,500 + Commission

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Blackbird Recruiting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling lumber products to customers, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth in the lumber industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Identify and reach out to potential customers to promote and sell lumber products, ensuring a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of lumber products, grades, sizes, and applications, enabling effective recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and management to develop sales strategies, set sales targets, and achieve revenue goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the lumber industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of lumber products, grades, sizes, and applications.
  • Skillset: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets.
