As an Industrial Explosives Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of blasting services, adhering to the highest safety standards. You will manage explosive materials with meticulous attention, utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of blasting services
  • Managing explosive materials with meticulous attention
  • Seeking opportunities to enhance service and product offerings at customer sites
  • Building lasting relationships with customers, positioning Maxam as the partner of choice
  • Implementing innovative blasting techniques to optimize results, while maintaining safety protocols
  • Conducting thorough post-blast evaluations to drive continuous improvement
  • Staying updated with industry regulations, ensuring all operations are compliant

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on blasting experience
  • A deep understanding of regulations in mining, quarry, and construction
  • Proficiency in all aspects of surface blasting operations
  • A High School Diploma or GED; additional certifications in blasting preferred
