Job Overview

The Commercial Manager, Marine Geotechnical is responsible for driving business growth and managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial and technical aspects of marine geotechnical projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results while ensuring profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure commercial and technical aspects of projects are aligned.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial management, preferably in the marine geotechnical industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and technical aspects of marine geotechnical projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in office administration and database software.
