Utilizes technical expertise to assist personnel and troubleshoot computer-related issues. Responds to inquiries and resolves technical difficulties in person, over the phone, or through electronic means. May offer guidance regarding the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, email, and operating systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Facilitates investigations to address information system challenges.
  • Conducts analysis to comprehend, clarify, and resolve technological concerns.
  • Informs users about updates related to issues that have impacted them and follows up post-resolution.
  • Employs help desk management software to provide suggestions and enhancements. Ensures prompt and effective response times.
  • Prepares equipment for employee utilization, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or relevant software.
  • Creates instructional materials and procedures or educates users on the effective use of hardware or software.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Capability to identify and seek necessary information / research skills.
  • Technical proficiency (Database user interface and query software, development environment software, object or component-oriented development software, operating system software, web platform development software).
