Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Leadership: Oversee the overall site management for standalone locations, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Planning and Directing: Establish long-term operations objectives and develop strategic plans to achieve them. Integrate operations functions and processes to drive business success.
  • Profitable Operations: Plan, organize, and direct operations to maintain profitability. Control inventory, losses, accidents, and safety to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with government and regulatory agency guidelines. Implement programs to promote overall safety, security, maintenance, and ergonomics.
  • Personnel and Company Policy: Delegate responsibility to managers and enforce company policies on safety and employee discipline. Communicate changes to the workforce and oversee work and performance.
  • Networking: Participate in industry organizations and networking opportunities to bring in knowledge and share best practices.
  • Union Facilities: Negotiate terms of collective bargaining agreements.
Requirements
  • Education: 4-year degree preferred (or High School Diploma and equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 10 years operations experience, with various job functions in distribution management, and minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Knowledge/Skills: D.O.T. regulations, Labor Relations, Selecting/interviewing/recruiting, Customer Service, budgeting and cost control, knowledge of OSHA, HAACP, and other regulations, PC skills.
