Director of Operations

Are you a seasoned operations professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for leading high-performing teams and driving business growth? We're seeking a talented Director of Operations to join our team at IDEX Health & Science.
About the Role:The Director of Operations will be responsible for leading all aspects of production, including work centers, capital expenditures, direct labor staffing, procurement, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective operations-related processes and procedures, as well as ensuring that facilities are structured to meet present and future operations requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all aspects of production, including work centers, capital expenditures, direct labor staffing, procurement, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement effective operations-related processes and procedures.
- Ensure that facilities are structured to meet present and future operations requirements.
- Manage all production processes to assure that manufacturing consistently ships quality product on time.
- Improve manufacturing and material management processes through the use of LEAN principles and productivity measurements.
- Drive JDE and improvements to the ERP system functionality in order to facilitate better decision making and efficiency.
- Partner with centralized Supply Chain team to develop and implement effective supply-chain management practices to reduce overall costs, improve product quality, and assure stable sources of supply.
- Effectively manage, train, and motivate all direct and indirect subordinates, as a team, to maximize the overall productivity of operations.
- B.S. degree required, advanced degree a plus.
- Ten or more years in a related manufacturing operations management position.
- Lean Certified a plus.
- Demonstrated operational experience with results driven through continuous improvement with sustained results.
- Experienced, well-trained practitioner of the continuous improvement culture/techniques.
- Ability to develop and implement creative solutions to systems and processes.
- Must be able to lead and drive change of production operations.
- Must be results-oriented.
- Must be innovative, and able to implement conceived innovations.
- Business Savvy – Must understand how actions impact the IH&S business (growth, cost, working capital, and profit) both in the short and long term.
- Ability to work through conflict and appreciate the points of view of other functions inside and outside of the organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of ERP software concepts.
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $147,800.00 - $221,800.00, depending on experience, as well as a performance-based bonus plan.
