Position Summary

  • Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with the option for remote work one day a week. Flexibility for additional hours may be necessary based on business needs.
  • On-Site Requirement: This role necessitates a physical presence at various properties during scheduled hours. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or have plans to relocate prior to starting.
  • Compensation: The salary range is between $100,000 and $108,000 annually, complemented by quarterly bonuses and potential reimbursement for relocation expenses up to $2,500 for out-of-state candidates.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with the employer covering 85% of the employee's premium. Additional benefits include a 401k plan with company matching, paid sick leave, vacation time starting at three weeks, and 13 paid holidays.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property management within the last decade.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple properties, budgets, and timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Fair Housing, Landlord-Tenant, and ADA regulations.
  • Experience in customer service is essential.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC and property management software is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Your Responsibilities

Leadership and Oversight

  • Manage daily operations across multiple properties in the designated region.
  • Support and guide property managers and staff to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff.
  • Foster a motivating environment for all team members.

Financial Oversight

  • Establish and manage budgetary goals for each property.
  • Review financial reports and budget variances with property directors.
  • Prepare and assess annual budgets.

Operational Management

  • Ensure properties are maintained to meet health and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and oversee maintenance activities.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Stay updated on relevant laws and ensure staff training on compliance.
  • Monitor and report on compliance issues and incidents.

Marketing and Occupancy Management

  • Implement marketing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
