BridgePoint Associates seeks a seasoned Chief of Philanthropy to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth in our donor base. As a key member of our leadership team, you will develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to meet or exceed development goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of fundraising and donor engagement strategies
  • Develop and execute plans to diversify funding sources and expand the donor base
  • Provide moves management to a portfolio of high-level major donors capable of giving 6- and 7-figure gifts
  • Establish and track key performance indicators to evaluate fundraising efforts
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Chair of the Board to drive Board of Directors fundraising efforts
  • Manage and mentor a team of four development professionals
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant fundraising experience, including time in a leadership role
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a proven track record of securing 6+ figure gifts
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop new strategies and approaches for fundraising
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on generating results
  • Interest or prior experience in a related topical area of education, behavioral science, or cognitive science is a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed
