At OSF HealthCare, we are seeking a skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will perform clinical and administrative duties consistent with Medical Assistant program education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care support activities.
  • Work in both the clinical and front office functions of the practice.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the specific needs of the practice.

Requirements:

">
  • High school or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months experience with computer, Microsoft Office, and email.
  • Minimum of 6 months health care facility clinical experience or clinical education (including enrollment or completion of OSF MSS MOA Bridge Program).

Preferred Qualifications:

">
  • Preferred experience in phlebotomy and lab work.
  • Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months experience with an electronic health record.
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology.

Salary and Benefits:

">

The estimated salary for this position is $17.60 per hour. Additionally, OSF HealthCare offers a sign-on bonus for external candidates and internal new graduates with less than 2 years of experience, with amounts ranging from $1,500 to $2,000.
