Office Manager; Medical Office

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Medical Office Manger to lead the Medical Staff Office, overseeing credentialing and privileging processes to ensure practitioner quality and patient safety in Washington, DC. Reporting to the Director of Medical Staff Services, this role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with policies, and serving as a key liaison to senior management. This is a 3 month assignment with the possibility to extend.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management: Lead and support the Medical Staff Coordinator team, handling training, performance, and work allocation.
Credentialing Oversight: Oversee credentialing processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
Policy Compliance: Monitor and update Medical Staff Bylaws, Credentialing Manuals, and policies.
Committee Coordination: Work with the Credentials and Bylaws Committee alongside senior leadership.
Database Management: Maintain credentialing databases for accurate reporting.
Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary contact for the Medical Staff Office.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Experience: 3+ years in medical services field
Certification: CPCS certification or CPMSM within three years of hire
Technical Skills: Proficiency in credentialing software, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years in management
5+ years in medical services field

Pay Details: $40.00 to $44.60 per hour
