Job Summary

HH MedStar Health Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Office Director to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional patient care in our medical offices.

This critical role involves planning, managing, and coordinating all patient care activities, implementing organizational policies, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Provide oversight for daily operations, ensuring patient access to care and creating a professional environment.
  • Adjust operations to maintain peak performance, establishing and maintaining equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Assist with practice growth and development, coordinating meetings to inform teams of goals, policy changes, and MHS objectives.
  • Coordinate schedules for new providers and modify existing provider schedules as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient satisfaction by monitoring scheduling practices and staffing levels.
  • Routinely review CGCAHPS data and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for compliance with all policies and procedures, including quality and safety-related tasks.
  • Support and partner with the Office of Corporate Business Integrity to educate and inform associates/providers of compliance standards.
  • Prepare and monitor monthly statistical reporting of key operations and financial factors.
  • Responsible for office financial performance, working with Director of Operations, Physician Leadership, and Finance to prepare annual budgets.
  • Supervise non-provider staff, ensuring they are trained in emergency procedures and identify the need for additional skills training.
  • Maintain and coordinate all staff schedules to accommodate patient flow.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,428 - $131,310 per year.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-4 years healthcare/medical office experience
  • 2 years general management experience; preferably in an ambulatory care setting
  • Bachelor's degree in health care administration or related field preferred
  • Courses in medical terminology preferred
