Job Opportunity

We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Comprehensive Patient Navigator to join our multidisciplinary team at Kent Hospital.

This key role plays a vital part in ensuring all adult patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to the nursing process and Oncology Nursing Society Standards of Practice.
  • Provide education and information to patients and their families, helping them navigate the cancer journey.
  • Support patients during difficult decision-making periods and assist in coordination of end-of-life care for patients and families.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required with at least 5 years of nursing experience in Oncology.
  • Nurse Navigator experience required.
  • Must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Rhode Island and CPR certification.
  • Oncology Nursing Society certification required.
  • Nurse Navigation Certification Preferred and/or obtained within 6 months of being qualified.
