Clinical Oncology Care Manager

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Oncology Care Manager to join our multidisciplinary team at Kent Hospital. As an advocate, interpreter, educator, and counselor for oncology patients, this role is responsible for ensuring all adult patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services.
The successful candidate will serve as a clinical resource with expertise in oncology care management and will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care throughout the continuum.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care and guidance to cancer patients from screening to survivorship.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to the nursing process and Oncology Nursing Society Standards of Practice.
- Offer education and information to patients and their families, helping to make care seamless, continuous, and comprehensive.
- Respond to patient requests for information regarding disease processes, expected side effects of treatment, and community resources.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required with at least 5 years of nursing experience in Oncology.
- Nurse Navigator experience required.
- Must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Rhode Island and CPR certification.
- Oncology Nursing Society certification required.
- Nurse Navigation Certification Preferred and/or obtained within 6 months of being qualified.
