About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Warwick, providing care and support to patients in various healthcare settings while traveling to different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physical therapists to deliver comprehensive patient care, assisting with exercises and rehabilitation programs as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide regular updates to the physical therapy team, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, including preparing equipment and supplies for patient use.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, promoting empowerment and understanding.
  • Travel to different healthcare facilities as required, adapting to new environments and workflows with ease.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Possess current PTA license and certification, demonstrating expertise in physical therapy principles and practices.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but not essential; strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare environments, prioritizing patient needs and comfort above all else.
