Content Development Specialist

Location: Remote (preferably East Coast)

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Global Head of the Thought Leadership Institute, the Content Development Specialist will take charge of crafting, overseeing, and executing engaging content tailored for our thought leadership initiatives.

This position necessitates strategic content creation and demands a proven track record in innovative content engagement, alongside robust content marketing acumen to synchronize the content development process with various marketing channels.


Key Responsibilities:

• Generate distinctive and captivating thought leadership content focused on significant business and technology trends pertinent to senior executives within Global 2000 companies.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, content partners (including writers and designers), marketing teams, and other resources to produce thought leadership materials for diverse media and channels.

• Oversee the creation of thought leadership content, including managing the editorial calendar.

• Identify emerging trends and relevant content topics for thought leadership and propose innovative content ideas.

• Work in partnership with Marketing to bolster campaigns and evaluate the effectiveness of the content strategy across all platforms, regularly reporting and presenting outcomes.

• Transform complex concepts into clear and compelling value propositions and supporting evidence.

While the primary focus will be on content development and editing, there will also be opportunities to engage with the team on a variety of marketing initiatives.

Deliverables will encompass but are not limited to white papers, case studies, primary and secondary reports, infographics, blogs, videos, social media graphics, and tweets.

• Assess and report on the success of thought leadership programs.


Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in communications, business journalism, or marketing is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in thought leadership content creation and editing.

• Previous experience in global consulting or professional services firms is essential.

• Expertise in writing about topics at the intersection of business and technology.

• A creative and innovative mindset with strong planning abilities.

• Demonstrated knowledge of content strategy and marketing principles.

• A passion for technology, with a commitment to staying informed about industry trends and best practices.

• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to develop and implement effective processes and procedures.

• Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a dedicated team.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Assertive, adaptable, and possessing a strong sense of urgency.
