Position: Pathology Laboratory Technician

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $28.85 - $33.65 per hour

Overview:
Astrix Technology is seeking a dedicated Pathology Laboratory Technician to enhance our innovative laboratory team. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to engage in vital research activities and contribute to high-quality pathology services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform sectioning and staining of tissue samples.
2. Assist in the identification, research, optimization, and implementation of both animal and human tissue specimens.
3. Conduct basic histopathology, including work with paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue samples.
4. Provide digital slide scanning services.
5. Exhibit flexibility in scheduling and commit to a long-term engagement in this role.

Qualifications:
1. High School diploma, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 months of relevant laboratory experience in clinical and histology settings.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a small laboratory team.
3. Proficient technical skills, including excellent computer literacy.
