Position Summary

In the role of Laboratory Animal Care Technician, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of laboratory animals, ensuring their well-being, and supporting researchers with animal-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sanitize and maintain animal housing and equipment
  • Provide food and water, and manage cage changes
  • Assist in addressing issues related to animal care
  • Record completion of husbandry tasks
  • Operate and upkeep sanitation machinery
  • Monitor and report on animal health
Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Laboratory Animal Care Technician
  • 1 year experience in a laboratory animal facility or AALAS certification for the Technician role
  • Capability to follow directives, lift up to 50 lbs, and collaborate effectively in a team setting

Compensation: $24.89 per hour
