Position Summary
In the role of Laboratory Animal Care Technician, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of laboratory animals, ensuring their well-being, and supporting researchers with animal-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Sanitize and maintain animal housing and equipment
- Provide food and water, and manage cage changes
- Assist in addressing issues related to animal care
- Record completion of husbandry tasks
- Operate and upkeep sanitation machinery
- Monitor and report on animal health
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Laboratory Animal Care Technician
- 1 year experience in a laboratory animal facility or AALAS certification for the Technician role
- Capability to follow directives, lift up to 50 lbs, and collaborate effectively in a team setting

Compensation: $24.89 per hour
