Educational Requirements
Associates Degree:
Candidates must possess an Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences, including 26 science credits, along with relevant experience in a CLIA-certified laboratory, or have completed a Military Training Program (including a U.S. Military medical laboratory procedures training course and holding the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist - Laboratory Technician).
Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant laboratory section is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
ASCP - American Society for Clinical Pathology certification is preferred.
