We are eager to welcome a part-time Leasing Specialist to our team at Lambertson Farms Apartment Homes in Thornton, Colorado.

Your main duty will be to ensure optimal occupancy rates through effective leasing of units and the renewal of existing leases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lease residential units
  • Convert inquiries into scheduled appointments
  • Conduct tours of the community for potential residents
  • Send follow-up notes to prospective tenants
  • Pre-screen applicants
  • Review pending applications for submission
  • Update applicants on their application status
  • Facilitate the move-in process for new residents
  • Review all necessary documentation with new tenants
  • Process payments as directed by the Assistant Manager
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all lease documents (including applications and credit checks)
  • Deliver welcome gifts and inspect units prior to move-in
  • Issue keys to new residents
  • Renew leases for current residents
  • Inform residents about lease expirations and discuss new lease terms
  • Assist residents with the move-out process
  • Complete all required move-out documentation accurately and promptly
  • Collect all keys, passes, etc. from vacating residents
  • Provide professional assistance to current residents to address their concerns
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents
  • Participate in resident events unless otherwise instructed
  • Perform general office tasks such as opening and closing the office, typing, filing, answering calls, and assisting with weekly reports
  • Complete quality control procedures as directed
  • Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales environment
  • Strong communication skills with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and a sales-oriented mindset
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to navigate stairs while showing apartments
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds; seek assistance for heavier items
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be necessary
