We are currently seeking a part-time Leasing Specialist to join our team at Lambertson Farms Apartment Homes.

Your main duty will be to ensure optimal occupancy rates through effective leasing and lease renewals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lease available apartments
  • Convert inquiries into scheduled appointments
  • Conduct tours of the community for potential residents
  • Send follow-up notes to prospective residents
  • Pre-screen applicants
  • Process pending applications for approval
  • Inform applicants about their application status
  • Facilitate the move-in process for new residents
  • Review all necessary documentation with new residents
  • Collect payments as directed by the Assistant Manager
  • Ensure all lease documentation is completed accurately and promptly
  • Deliver welcome gifts and inspect units before move-in
  • Issue keys to new residents
  • Manage lease renewals for current residents
  • Notify residents of lease expirations and discuss new lease terms
  • Assist residents during the move-out process
  • Complete all required move-out documentation accurately
  • Retrieve keys and access passes from vacating residents
  • Provide professional assistance to residents to address their concerns
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents
  • Participate in community events unless otherwise instructed
  • Perform general office tasks such as opening and closing the office, typing, filing, answering calls, and assisting with reports
  • Follow quality control procedures as directed
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales environment
  • Strong communication skills with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and sales orientation
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to navigate stairs while showing apartments
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds; assistance should be sought for heavier items
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required
