We are seeking to welcome a part-time Leasing Specialist to our team at Lambertson Farms Apartment Homes.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the leasing of apartments
- Convert inquiries into scheduled tours
- Guide potential residents through the community
- Send appreciation notes to interested applicants
- Pre-screen potential tenants
- Process applications for approval
- Update applicants on their application status
- Assist new residents with their move-in process
- Review lease agreements with new tenants
- Collect payments as directed by the Assistant Manager
- Ensure all lease documentation is completed accurately and promptly
- Deliver welcome gifts and inspect units before move-in
- Issue keys to new residents
- Manage lease renewals for current residents
- Notify residents about lease expirations and discuss new lease terms
- Assist residents with move-out procedures
- Complete all necessary move-out documentation accurately
- Retrieve keys and access passes from departing residents
- Provide professional assistance to residents to address their concerns
- Maintain positive relationships with residents
- Participate in community events unless otherwise instructed
- Perform general office tasks such as opening and closing duties, filing, answering calls, and assisting with reports
- Follow quality control procedures as directed
- Undertake additional responsibilities or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role
- Strong communication skills with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors
- Self-driven with a positive attitude and sales-oriented mindset
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Ability to navigate stairs while showing apartments
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds; seek assistance for heavier items
- A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required
