We are currently seeking a part-time Leasing Specialist to join our team at Lambertson Farms Apartment Homes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the leasing of apartments
  • Convert inquiries into scheduled appointments
  • Conduct tours of the community for potential residents
  • Send follow-up notes to interested applicants
  • Pre-screen potential tenants
  • Review and submit applications for approval
  • Communicate application status to candidates
  • Assist new residents with the move-in process
  • Review lease documents with new tenants
  • Process payments as directed by the Assistant Manager
  • Ensure all lease documentation is completed accurately and promptly
  • Deliver welcome gifts and inspect units before move-in
  • Issue keys to new residents
  • Manage lease renewals for current residents
  • Inform residents about lease expiration and discuss new lease terms
  • Assist residents with move-out procedures
  • Complete necessary paperwork for move-outs efficiently
  • Collect keys and access passes from departing residents
  • Provide professional assistance to residents with inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents
  • Participate in community events as required
  • Perform general office tasks such as opening and closing duties, filing, and answering calls
  • Follow quality control protocols as directed
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role
  • Strong communication skills with residents, colleagues, and vendors
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and sales-oriented mindset
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to navigate stairs while showing apartments
  • Capability to lift up to 25 pounds; assistance is available for heavier items
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be necessary
