Key Responsibilities- Financial Operations Management: Oversee the billing process, including pre-billing and billing processes, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Claims Management: Analyze accounts receivable reports and payments received to identify trends and denial issues, and work with external billing agencies to resolve claims.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external billing agencies and third-party payers to ensure smooth claims processing.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in finance or business discipline, or Associates degree with knowledge of medical reimbursement and related terminology.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in medical claims reimbursement, Medicaid or Medicare billing, and supervisory experience supporting a billing team.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will work in a busy and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate and timely claims processing. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
